Love is something I really don't want
Somehow it always finds me
And messes with my head
I blame my heart
For loving you and all the others that came before
I just don't understand
What we really need love for?
You know
Most times it isn't useful
It only cause problems
Pain and heartache
I blame my stupid heart
For falling in love with your eyes
We used to have a great time just talking and hanging out
But I guess those are the things people do when they fall in love
Well to be friends we had to do those same things
So I guess I should blame my stupid heart
For feeling all these stupid things
I blame all of those children's books that I read as a little girl
For making me think I had some knight in shining armor waiting
When really theres no one there
Just my stupid heart and its stupid feelings
That ruined my relationship with my best friend.

hey girl i feel what you are saying!! hopefully theres more poetry where this came from. i always feel like that. i mean what is the point of love if it always ends in heartbreak?
it seems like it does I'm going thru something really wild right now which is why i havent been writing i was really depressed. But I'm getting over it so I decided to pick up the pen to get rid of the feelings

hey girl sorry for all the comments but i really dig what you are sayin...thats so true about how you shouldnt waste time lovin someone who doesnt love you enough or the same way...but sometimes you love somebody so much you cant walk away cause you know they mean well and they have good days and bad days but the good days outweigh the bad...
with love comes immense optimism...
I truly believe in that saying "it is better to have loved and lost than to not have loved at all...
just remember that the heartache will have been worth going threw when you find that true love
